ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio to Tom and Lisa, whose love has set me off on this wild adventure of ministry. After college, I moved to Montana and lived on the Northern Cheyenne Native American Reservation where I worked at St. Labre High School. During this time, I began praying and discerning a call to ministry.

Out of a curiosity and passion for public theology, I enrolled in the unique dual degree program between Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Carnegie Mellon University. Through that education, I became more rooted in the Reformed tradition of my upbringing and gained a greater understanding of public policy.

Now, as an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PCUSA, I'm serving in Holt, MI where I help the local church understand its role in the community through pastoral care, advocacy, and ultimately proclamation of God's reign.

In 2017, Lauren Enty and I were married after meeting in college and dating for five years. Her love, joy, and patience is the only reason I made it through seminary and the ordination process. Our marriage gives my life immense meaning!
